At long last, we got 4.1.1 for Irix 6.5 installed along with an apparently compatible version of ImageMagick. Thanks Jeff B!!
Now I saved a .jpg for the first time, successfully, from Image Save dialog. Yippee! Next, I would like to save a compressed (LZW) tiff. Can I do that? Naively sending an image name of "-compress LZW image.tiff" yielded a file that begins with "-compress" (hint: rm -- *compress* to get rid of a file that begins with a "-" and contains "compress" (:-) ). In general, is there a mechanism to pass Imagemagick parameters or not? Do I just have to do it externally after outputting from DX? Thanks!
