I have created a rubbersheet surface from some
data which are scatterd and the location vector consists of longitude and
latitude coordinates My only variable is a scalar. I autogridded the
data and then used rubbersheet to create a surface. I would like to know
how it would be possible to map the outlines of the 48 continental United States
onto this surface. I've tried using the worldmapprojection macro and have
the map and the surface in two completely different spots on the final
image. Also, the map appears to be reversed. If the current
cartography package isn't able to do this, how easy is it to get GIS data into a
DX file format? Can I use something like ArcView to do it and what would I
have to do to map it onto my surface?
Any advice would be appreciated.
