The Pick was a test to see how long one interpolation takes. At the moment I am rendering one Slab, and do the Pick in the Slab. As I said this takes 10-15s. Reducing the volume reduces the amount of time it takes for the Map. It would appear as if the regularity of the field is lost along the way and Map is happily processing each point. One thing I forgot to mention is that if I take a 256x256x34 grid (regular in each direction) and map that onto the ultrasound grid the processing time is 6-10s. The other way around >> 1 day. > It is a large point > set, so it may simply be that's the way things are going to be. Sad but true. > If connections are in fact regular, why not use Slab to lop off > a 20x20x20 section around where you want to do the 10x10x10 > Map?
