Answer is probablyNO.  Only X-server with GLX extension so far in the market
is
Hummingbird Exceed.  However, all the needed DLLs are included with OpenDx
therefore
Hummingbird Exceed is not a requirement.  You should be fine with any
X-server,
even freebie from http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin/xfree
