We want to display an image as the background, then place a ball and stick 
crystal shape on top of it,  rotate the crystal to match the image, then read 
out the axial positions.  Is this possible in dx?

Specifically, is there a way to rotate the crystal without rotating the 
background? How do I get the transformation matrix that is used when I rotate 
the crystal using the Image module?
