Chris,

Look under Windows section of the binary download. The only thing that is available is opendx-4.1.1.zip. Are you sure you're not looking under the source downloads?

David

Hey David, when I try to get this, the Download page link says it's 4.1.1 but when I get to the download page it says its dx-4.1.0.tar.gz. I don't want to waste time on a back-rev. Which is actually there? Is Suhaib's new package up yet? Thanks.

David,

I uploaded to ftp.sdsc.edu, under your incoming directory,
IBMVisualizationDataExplorer.exe. This is DX 4.1.1 for Windows
compiled with MSVC 6.0/SP4. Packaed with InstallShield PackageForWeb
Installer. If you provide an html link to it, a user could directly install
it from http://www.opendx.org by double clicking on
IBMVisualizationDataExplorer.exe or download to his PC and install from
local disk. The Installer requires Windows Installer 1.2 Services installed
on a user PC. Luckily Windows ME and Windows 2000 comes with Windows
Installer pre-installed, but users of Windows98/9x/NT might have to visit
www.microsoft.com to get instmsia.exe/instamsiw.exe. Most probably
IBMVisualizationDataExplorer.exe would detect the Operating system version
and in case of Win9x/NT with no Windows Installer Services, it will first
install it.

This distribution replaces the previous opendx-4.1.1.zip, and also its
patches DXExec.zip and libdxexe.zip. Everything is packed in one archive.

Suhaib
