You must have looked on the wrong mailing list :) This is a problem
quite a few users have seen. Have you read the Readme file included
in the doc directory of the dx-root
(/usr/local/dx/doc/README_solaris)? It will tell you how to fix the
problem.

Hi there,
I just downloaded and installed the binary of DX on an Ultra-60 running
Solaris 8. I can start the user interface and connect to an SGI running
dxexec, but I have problem to start dxexec on this SUN:
When I tried "dx -execonly" it gave me the following error message:
Error during Initialization
cannot get shared memory segment / failed on segment 1 of 1 needed
segments / last call to shmget returned errno 22
cannot initialize DX library
I read some of the relevant threads in this mailing list. It seems that
nobody had exactly this problem before.
Did I miss something?
