The Cornell Theory Center is offering a distance education course on
OpenDX.  Detailed information is available at

"Introduction to OpenDX" was developed by the Cornell Theory Center (CTC)
for business and industry, federal agencies, and academia.

OpenDX is a free visualization software package available at

http://www.opendx.org

It evolved from the IBM Visualization Data Explorer product.

This is a distance education course, offered in the CTC's Virtual Workshop
(VW) format. Participants work at their own pace from their home or work
computers with access to Web-based modules and CTC consulting support. No
travel or campus residency is required. The workshop is available during a
three-week period. A Cornell Theory Center Certificate of Completion is
awarded to participants who complete all course requirements.

The objective of the course is to enable the participant to write and
understand a basic OpenDX program. The main course topics are:

     OpenDX Introduction
     The OpenDX Data Model
     The OpenDX User Interface
     Using Available Help/Tutorial Resources
     Making Visualizations
     Advanced Concepts
