It is going to be a requirement that dx be in your path. It installs
the dx script in /usr/local/bin. So add /usr/local/bin to your
path--that should fix the problem.
David
hello!
i've just installed opendx via RPMs opendx-4.0.1, opendx-docs and dxsamples on
Linux RedHat 6.2 with 2.4.1 kernel, XFree86-4.0.1.
When i type
$ dx
in console i've got a message "No such file or directory". I suppose
this is because of PATH envirinment variable is not set.
And when i try
$ /usr/local/dx/bin/dx
dx starts but when i try to run any visual program is complies
"cannot connect to dxexec".
Maybe anybody already solved this problem? What should I do? Any
suggestons are welcome and apperciated.
