I am writing for the first time...a brand brand brand new newbie. My issue is
as follows:

I have been working now for several days to get OpenDX to run under Win98. I
had it running once, but never again. I have tried both files the opendDX
windows version and the openDX cygwin version. I had the windows version
running, but that was only for a few hours, until I had to restart my
computer...

I now am running with this:
OpendDX cygwin with the xfree86 free xserver.
I followed the instructions as posted in the ReadMe.windows file from Siddiqi.
When I start the cygwin bash shell and type in dx ... it says error: no such
file or directory. Fine, I go into /usr/local/dx/bin and type in "dx" same
error message, though the dx.exe file is sitting right there. Any ideas as to
what is going on??

And on another question...you mention using Exceed for X-server. I have Exceed
7.0 for windows..and have tried to make that my X-server. Is it necessary to
use Exceed 3d?? Or is there a way to configure Exceed to run...I have tried,
and I guess since I am trying to learn all this on the fly, just got too
frustrated...and no one to ask around where I work since we have just started
to use exceed...thanks for any help
