This is a known problem and is fixed in 4.1.2. There will soon be
binaries of 4.1.2 showing up for download, but we are currently
awaiting a final release of the 4.1.2 source code. Keep watch on the
download pages over the next two weeks.

Hello, All!
I've tried to start dx on SPARC U10 with Solaris 8, but failed. It
starts normal way on Solaris 7- mashines.
startupui cannot start dxexec and settle on port to use for
communications. On the other hand, when I start dxui
or start dxexec -r and then connect to it, it works.
Is it a known problem?
Other question: will be binary distribution os 4.1.1 available for
download?
Right now we are actively using OpenDX in our work on Linux mashines,
but the majority of our users are using
Suns, so we have to make it running with our system under Solaris.
