Hi Gib,
I had the same problem with Hummingbird 7.0 on the windows side of things.
I actually called Hummingbird and found out the changed their directory
structure. Hummingbird is also restructured so the Xkeysmdb is
incorporated in other "hummingbird specific files". I'm not sure if you
found the new directory but it's (at least on my computer)
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\
Hummingbird\Connectivity\7.0\Exceed
If you look at Suhaid's OpenDX\bin\Readme file, he provides rather nice
intructions on mucking with the Registry and adding a new xkeysymdb
registery. The only difference between his directions with Hummingbird 7.0
are the directories. Once you get the "regedit" to work look under
Software\Hummingbird\Connectivity\7.0. I wasn't sure which directory to
add the XDK folder with the XKEYSYMDB file so I added it under
\Software\Hummingbird\
\Software\Hummingbird\Connectivity
\Software\Hummingbird\Connectivity\7.0
If you figure out the specific directory, lemme know.
Once you make changes suggested in the README file - reboot and give
OpenDX a whirl. Hope the above helps.
Cheers,
Karen
