this is a yacc vs bison issue that is supposed to be handled by configure which
sets USING_BISON accordingly.  perhaps you have both yacc and bison and 
configure
got confused.  is USING_BISON defined in include/dxconfig.h?  do you have both
/usr/bin/yacc and bison?
