I have written a Perl script that arranges my data in a series and
associates a frequency value to each member of that series. I now
retrieve every series member just by changing the index, but how can I
access the associated value?
Any ideas?

Inquire(field,"series positions") returns the array which you can
index into with Select and the member ID (index).
