You still need an XKeysymDB. This can be grabbed from other X-Window
systems and put in place. This is one thing that our paid version
fixes--we are stilling testing it however (found some NT problems).
You may look at the support pages from XWin32. You can also get a
version from the old commercial DX release from IBM.
David
When starting opendx with the 2h-limited version of x-win32 on W98, I
get a bunch of error messages like the following :
XtWarning: translation table syntax error: Unknown keysym name:
osfActivat
XtWarning: ... found while parsing ':<Key>osfActivate: FinishDrag()'
etc.
Working via the x-server on solaris machines works fine, all of
thekeys work. Apparently, someone doesn't recognize the translation
table of x-Win32.
There ist no file like XkeysymDb on my system. Should I replace
Xkey... with something else which might contain a keyb. mapping like
in some proposal on this list:
Set XkeysymDB=c:\Windows\Application
Data\Hummingbird\Connectivity\7.00\Exceed\XkeysymDB
Thank you for any advice and sorry for (my first >;-> ) newbie
question
Alexander
