There is a dxf importer available in different forms. You can either
check out Cornell Theory Center's website or check out gis2dx (which
included dxf) on University of Montana's website.

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone has tried to use off the shelf or even open source
3D drawing and modelling software ie. AutoCad,3D Studio Max, Myriad and
exported 3D models from any of these software into OpenDX DX format. If so,
any recommendations abt doing it.
