I am a new user of opendx. I have downloaded a recent version and am using it on an SGI Octane 2 workstation. So far it seems to work well with the exception of a problem I am having with the postscipt files it produces.
I have produed 2-d gray scale images and save them as postscipt files. The images look excellent on my screen. However, when they are printed or viewed with xpsview, they are significantly degraded (they look very grainy). I have tried lots of things but so far nothing seems to clear this up. Can someone tell me how to get good output images without this degradation? Thanks. Bob Handler Naval Research Lab Washington, DC
