I bet you will need to set the file to C:/ using forward slashes for all the path information.

David

I have recently installed opendx-4.1.3-WIN32 and am using Exceed as my X-server. The installation seems to work fine except for problems with importing data. On importing the file spreadsheet.data ( example # 2 in the quickstart guide) I get the following error:

Begin Execution
0: worker here [-1824455]
0: ERROR: UI [10,17] parse error: |Test_file= "C:\
Begin Execution
0: ERROR: UI [195,17] parse error: |Test_file= "C:\
ERROR: Import: Bad parameter: file name must be specified

I have changed my editor.bat to the correct path following the advice given in "RE:[opendx-users] Initial Set-up" <opendx-users/2001.08/msg00069.html>. Unfortunately this has not remedied the problem.

How does one work around this?

Sincerely,
