All - We have recently opened our Access Grid node and want to gain experience with it (also) in an educational setting. One of our ideas is to use it for a course in visualization in which we use OpenDX as platform. Such a course is given on a yearly basis at our faculty. The new course will of course introduce the basic concepts of visualization (perhaps we can effectively share existing knowledge). Beyond that Part of the (new) course should focus on collaboration of student over the net sharing each others (patial) programs (eg using TCPimport or similar tools) and working together. In order not to reinvent to wheel we are looking for people interested on the net to participate. A similar call-for-participation on the accessgrid community has resulted in a number of positive responses.
If you have suggestions/comments or are interested to participate, please drop an e-mail to me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) or Luc Renambot ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Thanks Hans Spoelder Links http://www.nat.vu.nl/vakgroepen/ni/english/index.html http://www.nat.vu.nl/~pwgroen/projects/vis http://www.icwall.nl dr.
