I have an animation working pretty much as I want to depict a timeseries of 3D data.
What I'd like to add is a colour bar, single color & fixed size, with the only tick mark representing a variable for each frame in the timeseries. Thus the tick will appear to move back and forward along the bar as the frames progress through the series. The color bar is done, getting the tick location (& tick label) moving accordingly isn't. I can read in the value at which I want a tick, but when attached to the tick tab on the colour bar module, I get told that the value is not a list.
