Sort of. I first explored a solution that created a larger grid
shifted down and to the left, then resampled onto it from the
original grid, but eventually worked it into this net that permits
you to pick which connection index you want to become the data value
for the entire connection element. That's rather different from the
simple Post solution which averages all connection data values into
one. This reassigns a "corner's" data value to the entire
connection's data value, in effect, shifting the data without
averaging. Frankly, this solution, while it works, seems conceptually
flawed. Extreme values on the periphery are going to be thrown away
which is probably scientifically unsound.
