Makes sense to me. I am getting a XtWarning message about "no type converter registered ..." Is there a 7.2 build in the making? That would be the simplest solution other than dumping 7.2 and installing 7.1 which may not be that simple on a dual boot machine. Don't have the skill or time to build my own.

I would say this is a problem with incompatibilities between the two Redhat versions. Because the loadable libraries are different, this is most likely the problem--in fact probably something with Motif/Lesstif.

I have recently changed machines and installed a fresh copy of RH7.2. I have used DX under RH 7.1 and the windows version. I installed the RPM binary built under 7.1 from the web site. I am running as root because of some, currently unresolved, usr permission issues. My question is that DX works fine using the VPE with one exception (may be more but have yet to encounter). The IMPORT tool's configuration dialog box is not acting correctly. It comes up with a control f or double click but when expanded it expands in size but no real new info is displayed-large blank area with a thin grayed out slider at the top. Collapsing sometimes results in a blank box. Spot checked several other tools and the behavior did not appear. My question is this: 1) an installation problem or 2)a problem with this build or 3) something related to the location of the data (this is what I was changing because of the new directory structure.) Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
