Matthew
I just built OpenDX on two machines with RH7.3. It went pretty smooth but
there were a few things that I needed to do.
I can not remember, but I don't think the OpenMotif and ImageMagick develop
RPMs are installed by default. You probably want them. I had to create two
links, which I believe were:
ln -s /usr/X11R6/include/Xm /usr/include/Xm
ln -s /usr/lib/libxml2.so.2 /usr/lib/libxml2.so
(I am in Windows right now so I can not check).
David T. will soon make an OpenDX 4.2.0 RPM available for RH7.3 (next
week?), if you want to wait.

I would like to start using OpenDx 4.1.3 and would like to know if anyone
has tested a build on Redhat 7.3 (dual boot with XP!)?
I read in the archives that there has been some problems running the 7.1
version of opendx on RH 7.2 and don't currently have the knowledge to
build my own version. The reason for using RH 7.3 is it is built on
XFree86 4.2.0 which I believe has improved support for my workstations ATI
graphics card (Radeon 8500). As I'm new to Linux any help in this area
would be appreciated.
