I work in a not-for-profit but not academic research and consulting company in Italy. Last week an IBM representative gave a talk at a university consortium for a workshop called Linux Clusters. In the future there will be other presentations by IBM concerning parallel computing using clusters. The reputation of IBM would be enhanced if other speakers at future similar conferences gave papers on how their research was helped by using DXMPI. Though I am in charge of our small cluster, I for one example, could not give such a talk because where I would is not purely academic. ... now back to my development of a DX application, which I am developing on my Dell notebook... ciao, Alan
