For a surface plot, you'll need a 2d data set (2d positions->RubberSheet). Histogram outputs 1d positions, which is why you get a barchart with RubberSheet (i.e., counts vs. data value). What did you have in mind, counts=f(data value, y) ? What is y in this case?

Subject: [opendx-users] histogram
Dear DX users,
I am still learning how to use DX, so this question may be too
simple. How can I plot the output of Histogram module? It seems the
output doesn't have connections and the RubberSheet rendering only gives
bar chart where a surface plot is optimal. I tried to use AutoGrid but
it complained the output from Histogram doesn't have data. I Export the
output to a array file. Indeed, it doesn't have the data count. Can
anyone give me some hint what I should do to get a surface plot? Thanks
in advance.
Regards,
