No magic here.  You imported the two as scalar fields.  Hence, DX doesn't
know that your data are really a vector field unless you tell it.  The
above "network" will do that.  If you had imported the data as a vector,
then Glyph would have done what you wanted.

Hi everyone-

Please excuse my beginner question.
I have a 2-dimensional vector dataset (winds) that I would like to
visualize as a vector field with glyphs.  The data is separated into two
files: the first file containing the x-coordinates of the vectors, and the
second file containing the y-coordinates.  I have imported both files (or
components of the data), and am getting a visualization, but it is not
correct.  AutoGlyph is still interpreting the data as scalar, and will not
produce arrows. What module should I be passing the data through prior to
AutoGlyph?
