You probably /usr/X11R6/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig so the
run-time loader can find those shared libs.

hi,

I successfully compiled openMotif-2.2.2 and dx-4.2.0 and installed them on
my alpha machine(with redhat 7.0). However when I run dx, it complains:

/usr/local/dx/bin_linux/startupui: error while loading shared libraries:
libXm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

but I have these libraries ready,
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so -> libXm.so.3.0.1
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so.3 -> libXm.so.3.0.1
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXm.so.3.0.1

So maybe I should create a symbolic link somewhere? Please help. thanks

Haoxiang
