Which version of Motif do you have installed? Is it Lesstif or
OpenMotif? I'd suggest trying to install OpenMotif to see if that
solved your problems.

I have just started using OpenDx (after years of using IBM DX) and have
installed the Redhat 7.1 binary of v4.2.0 on my Redhat 7.2 laptop.
If I attempt to open Options->View Control all windows, bar the main
menu, close.
If I attempt to double-click on a module in the VPE, to set its
configuration, all windows, bar the main menu, close.
I tried compiling from source - compiled and installed with no errors -
but the resulting binary didn't work at all. (The main menu appeared,
but all the buttons were stacked on top of each other, and none did
anything. Lots of XtWarnings about:
Cannot find callback list in XtAddCallback
and finally:
Name: mainWindow
Class: XmMainWindow
Cannot change visual policy after initialization.)
Probably I am missing some library or other? Can anyone suggest where
to start looking? Any other helpful suggestions?
