Hello all,

I have a field consisting of integer counts at
irregular 1-D positions, e.g.:

        position        data
        ========        =====
        0.0             12
        1.0             5
        1.35            7
        2.1             10
        ...             ...

I'd like to compute a density function over x, for
a given sliding-window size. Seems trivial, but I can't
figure out how to do it.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Joel

Mark("positions")
Include( min, max ) // supply these from Scalar interactors for your convenience
                    // Cull = true (default)

This should cut out all but the "good" ones
Unmark // this returns the real "data" to the "data" component
Compute the function

This is trivial because they are 1D positions. When you get to 2D positions, it's harder to describe how to eliminate them in two dimensions at the same time.
