I built OpenDX 4.2 on our Red Hat Linux 7.2 boxes, and some of the
time it works ok, but when I try to run e.g.the AutoSample.net
program in the Samples... directory, I get the following errors:
Begin Execution

0: opening file:
'/usr/local/tools/DX/OpenDX/4.2/dx/samples/data/watermolecule.dx'
ERROR: AutoColor: Invalid data: cannot compute statistics; no valid items found
The file it opens exists and is of nonzero length...so what is the
problem here? Can anyone tell me how to debug this? I'm a very
basic OpenDX user, mainly just maintain the package for others.
