Richard,
I don't think anyone responded because there is so little to go on.
AutoSample.net does not exist in the samples directory. Are you sure
that is the name of it?
David
I think I used a bad subject line before, so am reposting. Sorry
for the extra bandwidth...
I built OpenDX 4.2 on our Red Hat Linux 7.2 boxes, and some of the
time it works ok, but several of the samples don't work. E.g., when
I try to run the AutoSample.net program in the Samples... directory,
I get the following errors:
Begin Execution
0: worker here [25970]
0: opening file:
'/usr/local/tools/DX/OpenDX/4.2/dx/samples/data/watermolecule.dx'
ERROR: AutoColor: Invalid data: cannot compute statistics; no valid
items found
The file it opens exists and is of nonzero length...so what is the
problem here? Can anyone tell me how to debug this? I'm a basic
OpenDX user, mainly just maintain the package for others. Thanks.
