Thank you very much for your insightful response.
I will try your suggestions later tonight.

The main reason I am trying to use this package is
for visualizations as you indicated.
Currently I am running a 2D simulation and
have figured out (after much head-banging)
how to make DX display my results in the format
that I desire.

The info that I am trying to plot
is simply some running statistics that I thought
would be simple to plot up.

Seems like DX is very powerful but has a steep
learning curve. I used to use Tecplot back in school,
and I have to say its much easier to use, but then again
it costs $2500 where DX is free!
