I'm working with 1-D data and would like to display
a simple X axis. I'm using Autoaxis, and I'm having trouble
suppressing the Y axis. Can anyone help? I've tried:

        - just passing the 1D data in and using
defaults for the rest. No axes at all.

        - setting the corners input to {[xmin,0],[xmax,0]}.
        Ditto - no axes.

        - setting the corners so that the Y dimension
        is small, e.g., {[xmin,0],[xmax,0.01]}.
This sort of works. It still adds Y ticks, but
they're hard to see. However, it causes the
labels to be rendered in a tiny font. Increasing
the labelscale makes them visible again, but
also visible are the Y labels!

        - setting the number of Y-ticks to 0.
Autoaxis ignores this - it still adds Y ticks.

Help! (and thanks)
