It's in Plot3D format, which is a bit too complex for the data prompter
(i.e., general array importer) is designed. (There probably is a way by
reading in the data and positions independently.) You can use the Plot3D
filter to convert it to DX format. There is a version at
http://www.research.ibm.com/dx/bonuspak/html/bonuspak330.html, although
newer/other versions may exist. I visualized that data set a decade ago in
DX. You can see another NASA/ARC data set in DX with the example at
http://www.research.ibm.com/dx/bonuspak/html/bonuspak220.html or
bonuspak221.html, which is a 9-zone, symmetric solution. (space shuttle
launch vehicle).

Subject: [opendx-users] Blunt Fin

Hi,

Has anyone tried to read the blunt fin dataset
(http://www.nas.nasa.gov/Research/Datasets/Hung/index.shtml)
with DX?

I am trying to read it with the Data Prompter but it is not easy...
Any help would be appreciated.
