Hi Mark. How are you?

There were some filters for these and other codes written around 1994 or
1995 and packaged as a module with a GUI by a company called SciVis, that's
been out of business for years. However, the binary code was included in
the DX Bonuspak. See:
http://www.research.ibm.com/dx/bonuspak/html/bonuspak306.htm
http://www.research.ibm.com/dx/bonuspak/contrib/fea_cfd

I've never used them, so I can't make any comments about how they did work,
if the binaries would still work or if source code is available. Perhaps
some one else does...

Subject: [opendx-users] Support for Structural Mechanics Codes

What support exists in the form of readers for CSM codes like ANSYS,
ABAQUS, or ls-dyna?
Has anybody used DX with CSM codes? Which ones?

Thanks,
Mark
