If you have a strong stomach and appropriate software, you can catch a glimpse of a DX app I developed here at CTC for the USDA, being used as a tiny part of Craig Barrett's (CEO of Intel) keynote at last week's IDF 2003. The link below gets you to the page where you select the appropriate player/speed. Then I highly recommend you drag the cursor to "slide 23" (at least in the Windows media player world: not sure what the indicator is in Real), that is, about 85% of the length of the talk. You'll see a short on-screen demo given by my buddy Drew who got drafted at the last minute when the official Dell presenter guy blew a brain gasket and couldn't remember his little speech about genomics that he'd been memorizing for the previous two days. Ah, Science Meets Reality. Look for a woman in a leather jacket who knows nothing about the subject, doing the intro. Man, I am SO glad I didn't have to be there. Thanks, Drew!
