[opendx-users] newbie data import question

Hi all,


I'm a complete newbie on OpenDX.I've read the quick users guide and followed 
the tutorials. Most of the items are clear for me, except the one I need ;-) 

My (scalar) data is cell-centered (connection dependent in DX-speak?) and the 
cells have a reguar hexagonal-Z shape and are placed in a regular hexagonal-Z 
lattice. I would like to write a small script that would convert my data coming 
from a calculation into an OpenDX data file. I've had a look in Appendix B of 
the users guide but I guess I'm to much a newbie to figure it out... 

Has someone already done this and would she/he consider sharing the info with 
me?
