Someone in Linux-land can answer. I think the basic problem is a bogus or missing xkeysymdb file. Not sure where the right one is found for your system.
You can always use Edit:Configuration menu choice to get the same effect.

Lists are arrays and vice versa in DX. There is no fundamental difference, but this is confusing until you learn that, since in other languages like C, they aren't interchangeable.
