Hello,

I am using opendx 4.3.0 on a laptop with 512MB of RAM
(Windows XP, cygwin/Xfree86 1.3.22, opendx binaries kindly
uploaded by David Thompson to www.opendx.org around Jul 14,
2003. By the way, thank you very much for these binaries!).

The problem I'm having is that I cannot increase the memory
used by opendx. By default it only allows usage of 24MB. I
checked with the windows task manager that my system has
over 200MB of free memory, and I tried to start opendx
with the -memory flag (e.g. dx -memory 50), but opendx
still only uses 24MB. I still get the message

Starting DX executive
Memory cache will use 24 MB (2 for small items, 22 for large).

How can I increase the memory used? Why is the -memory
flag not working in this case? Is there perhaps a memory
limit built into these binaries?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Shan-Ho
