Has anybody tried using DX 4.3 (the binary for RH9 via rpm) on RH
Enterprise 3.0 (on a Pentium4 system)? Unfortunately, I am only accessing
the system remotely, but I seem to be seeing problems related to the socket
buffer size. I thought I would inquire before trying to diagnose the
problem further or building a new version.

Thanks.

I edited the script earlier to fix it at 262144, but had forgetten to
increase it when that wasn't enough. Setting it to 8x that does enable the
offending network to work, although the smaller value was certainly
sufficient for DX 4.2.

Thanks.

Lloyd,

Check the dx script and see if there is a line that is fixing the
buffer. I had made a mistake within the script when we released the
first version of 4.3 that set it even if the user had set it to
something else. If so, you can get an updated version of the script
or just delete the line.
