Time for a macro. You'll need ForEachMember and 2 sets of GetLocal-SetLocal, one to store the intermediate 'min' and one for 'max'. The macro will have 2 outputs. Look in the samples directory for a macro that accumulates and modify it (can't remember the name of the example).

also thank you for your suggestions. As it is an example I tried to simplify it. In reality I do not know the number of fields inside a group beforehand. Therefore, I need a list containing the values of all fields in the data file.
