seems easy to do what I want, but I´ve tryed it a lot and nothing...
The problem is the following:
>
> When I describe the data with just one variable (let it be x or y),
the visualization is the grid with retangular blocks of height and
color varying due to that variable.
> If I try to describe the same field with the two variables at the
same time (x and y), specifying on the control panels that the color
should come from x and the height from y, the result is an
"interpolation with pyramids". What I want is to generate that first
image (rectangular blocks), by just changing the way it chooses the
color. As I see in the VPE, the "Rubersheet" (is that?) creates the
height based on the output of the Color.
