A while back, I used some utility to convert MODFLOW input files (probably
the Basic Package input [BAS]) from a non-uniform model into a dx 2d grid,
but I can't remember what the program was. I've tried using DX-convert
(gis2dx) from Univ. of Montana/VIS, Inc., but the mod2dx module in this
program only converts the unformatted output files generated by UBUDSV and
ULASAV. Can someone explain how to get just the grid.

What I'd really like to do is generate a 2d or 3d grid and apply the
scalar values in the unformatted output to the grid as separate inputs.
Can anyone explain to me how to do this?

I also don't know how to work with time series data, i.e. the scalar
values in the MODFLOW unformatted output. This is something the "Paths to
Visualization" book didn't cover. Can someone point me in the right
direction?

TIA,

Fred
