Autoglyph (presumably making vectors?) creates a lot of new geometry (triangles), so this can blow out memory.
Try Sample after your Import and chop the number of data points down to say 10000 then send that to Autoglyph. After you get a picture, you can jack up the Sample number. Also, set Autoglyph's "type" to "needle" or "0.0". Needles are just lines, so there are no 'expensive' triangles created. 0.0 means "make the simplest possible appropriate glyph" which for vectors is needles. I recently visualized a field with over 86000 vectors on a grid and found that it was so cluttered that I ended up Sample'ing only about 5000 to get a good picture.

Hello,

it's me again :-)
I tried to extent my general-file for a 3D-case und display those values with
e.g. 'Autoglyph' The data-file has 270600 lines and 8 columns (2164800 values
in total). I get an error-message like:
ERROR: AutoGlyph: Out of memory: reached limit of 759169024 in large arena

Is OpenDx not able to show such 'large' files or are there some settings?

Greetings!
