Dear Jay,

As I told you before, it seems that you are trying to post process data that
were produced using FreeFEM3D (aka ff3d). By now, those data are not
especially formated for OpenDX, they can be seen as a raw export: only the
values of the computed solution are stored, not the mesh itself, but since
those data probably correspond to a structured cartesian grid, this is not a
problem. Using OpenDX, you have to follow the current procedure:
Import Data -> Grid or Scattered File -> Describe Data
then set 'Data file' to your .dat filename, and first 3 fields of 'Grid size'
to you mesh number of vertices. Then save it into a .general file. You just
then have to switch back to the Data Prompter and call 'Visualize Data'.

This should be a good starting point.

I say it again, this is not really related to OpenDX, but much more to
FreeFEM3D, and should find a better place on ff3d's mailing lists.

Best regards,
Stephane.
