The only method is a type of ray casting (software only), which was
published in the proceedings of the IEEE Visualization '91 conference by
Bruce Lucas.

Hi all,
I am writing a Master Thesis on DVR on unstructured grids,
and would like to know which methods are implemented in OpenDX for
this kind of rendering volume data.
(Raytracing, Shirley Tuchman, hierarchical resampling methods?)
