[opendx-users] constructing a "tube" along a certain direction

Hello,

I want to draw "tubes" at an appropriate oject location along a certain
(fixed) direction. How can I generate the line data I need as input to 
Tube from location/direction data? 

As a related question -- how can I construct a rendered-plane given a
normal direction and a point on the plane.
