It is not that sophisticated. You could dig into the code for dx and
fix it to work this way, or you could write yourself a simple little
program to return a properly formatted .general file and import it
with the !script option of Import.

I cannot get
grid = msb binary , int, bytes 64, 0,4,0,4
to work.
