I am trying to visualize a cell with periodic boundary condition. I found the Translate module in DX does not interpolate correctly with the data cross boundaries. The connection at the boundaries were lost at all.
One way out of the problem is to reformat the data to include image cells before feeding them to DX. But it is not elegant, definitely. I appreciate you reading this message and sharing your idea with respect to this problem.
