This is the consequence of how the mailing list is setup : it is setup
as a mail address, with no reference to it as being a mailinglist (or
bulk mail address)

Here is how to fix it :

Most of my mailinglist subscriptions have a List-Id <dotted listname> or
an extra header of Delivered-To: mailing list <list adres>.
They all however have the Precedence: bulk mailheader set.
Setting Precedence: bulk will prevent good mail clients/servers sending
out of office mails to that address. If it does, the client is broken
and needs fixing..

See ftp://ftp.rfc-editor.org/in-notes/rfc2919.txt for List-Id.
Precendence: bulk is non standard, but widely adopted by most mailinst
list systems.

Martin
